6:15pm – Our 1st special guests tonight is Nick Carayanis, President of The League of Greeks from Egypt and Middle East - EEAMA, talking to us about the Greek-Egyptian night, this coming Saturday 17th May 2014.

Joined EC in August 2001, treasurer of EEAMA from 2002 to 2010 and currently the President. Other portfolio includes youth, sport and other children activities including the Christmas function. Member of the Building Committee which was responsible for the sale of Whiteman Street and the acquisition of Bell Street.
Involved with EEAMA since he was a child having been part of the dancing group and basketball team in the 1980’s and 90’s. Nick's father is a past Vice President and coach of the Men’s, Women’s and Children’s basketball teams.
Nick has two children, a daughter 12 and a son 6.
Nick's personal aim over the last few years has been to make the Children’s Christmas party an experience the children will remember and hopefully encourage their parents to return to EEAMA and create the biggest social club in Australia.
