Jerry Guirguis & Janet Francis interview SheWolF all girls band, live-to-air from the studio of 96.5FM – Downtown [ Tuesday 26th Nov 2013 ].

8:15pm – Our special guests Band tonight is SheWolF;

SheWolF is comprised of four very musical 16-year-old girls hailing from Melbourne’s inner West, three of whom are non-identical triplet sisters, and ALL of whom were coincidentally baptized in the same church on the same day.

All have been involved in the performing arts from a very young age, with the triplets having been a band within their own right since their last few months in Primary School, while Ellen has the more impressive musical pedigree in that she comes from a very musical family.

When Ellen jammed with the triplets on a few social occasions over the last 12-18 months, the chemistry across the foursome was palpable and their collective creativity in making original music was near-effortless. Ellen joined the band around Easter 2013, whereupon the name “SheWolF” was adopted, and the newly-expanded band played their first gig at Williamstown High School’s annual “Warchild” benefit concert.

They have since played a number of electric and/or acoustic promo gigs for various community charities and events while composing songs for their first demo CD.
