With Nick hailing from tranquil Phillip Island, Victoria and Alex growing up in Canberra, both
artists have been working at perfecting their craft for years. Each moved to Sydney in the
hope of furthering their music careers, achieving much success along the way.
An accomplished songwriter and artist in his own right, Nick won the 2006 Telstra Road to
Tamworth award, which took him to Nashville to record his debut single ‘Hope For Me Yet’
on SonyBMG. Nick went on to release his debut EP and is now working on his independent,
highly anticipated debut album, a blend of acoustic and pop with undertones of soul and
country. Nick has supported artists including Thirsty Merc and James Reine, and also played
as session guitarist internationally for homegrown greats Guy Sebastian, The McClymonts,
Jessica Mauboy and many more.
Alex chose a different approach - busking regularly around Sydney (and more recently in
Melbourne), he quickly built a loyal fanbase who embraced his self-penned songs and
unique vocals. His debut 13 track album ‘This is Life’ recorded at Sydney’s Studio 301 was
launched to a packed out audience at iconic venue ‘The Basement’ reached No. 2 on
the Australian Singer Songwriter Charts. Alex has recently supported artists including Diesel,
The Black Sorrows, Kate Cebrano, Mental as Anything, Deni Hines and Uncle Jed (AGT
winners 2013) to name a few. Alex also embarked on his first solo National tour in 2013.
