Egyptian born Horticulturalist, Farid graduated from Ein Shems University with a double degree in Horticultural and Agricultural Engineering in 1973, works & lives in USA is now visiting Melbourne Australia.

Farid Khalil has cultivated his passion for horticulture and the natural world since he was a young boy growing up in Cairo. He graduated from Ein Shems University with a double degree in Horticultural and Agricultural Engineering in 1973.

Q1] Tells about the most memorable project at the Agricultural Research Institute [ Dep. of Egyptian Government ] .

In 1984 you & your wife decide to immigrated to the Freezing climates of America,

Q2] What were your recollections of seeing snow & it’s impact on a landscape from what you were use to in Egypt?

Your currently working for Mahoney's Garden Centers, you’ve been there for 27 years and going strong ,

Q3] Tell us about the type of work and how good has Mahoney the company you work for has been good to you ?

the largest horticultural business in the New England area, as their principle buyer. You are an active gardener, tending to his 1/2 acre garden at home.

Q4] What Australian plant do you most like and can’t talk enough about to the Americans ?
