8:15pm – Our special guests tonight, members from the Volcaniks band, a 60’s style surf band.
The Volcaniks are a 4-piece surf instrumental outfit from the Mornington Peninsula. We play a mix of early surf instrumental covers as well as our own compositions. Instrumental surf music is the Missing Link in Rock and Roll - it's exciting, elemental music that uses the power of the guitars and drums to give a driving rhythm that features reverb and a solid beat that gets people dancing and having a great time! Think Pipeline, Wipeout, Pulp Fiction soundtrack.
