Inspired by a play written by the ancient 5thC BC Greek comic playwright Aristophanes “ Women in Parliament”
The Time was ripe for a change back in Democracy, by expelling the men and getting the women to take over in parliament, the women have to borrow their husband’s clothes, get into the Assembly and pass new Laws to recognise Women as equal.
On the coming week, we will talking about other “Women in Leadership” roles, Cleopatra, Hypatia, Golda Meir, Indira Gandhi, Aung San Suu Kyi, Margaret Thatcher, Angela Merkel and Julia Gillard.
