Jerry Guirguis interview Bill Snaddon, Research & Communications Officer at Media Institute of Southern Africa [ MISA- Swaziland ], will be speaking to us Live-to-air on 96.5FM, here on the Egyptian radio show [ Monday 27th October 2014, Melbourne ].
Mr Bill Snaddon completed a Commerce and Arts Degree at Monash before doing the Honours in History
With an Honours Degree in History, followed by a Thesis on Homelessness in Australia for the period 1970 – 2008, Bill Snaddon is now a Research & Communications Officer in Swaziland, working for MISA-Swaziland for the past 2 years, with great self censoring ability, has build MISA-Swaziland website to promote and defend Free speech in Swaziland.
6:30pm – Our 1st special guests tonight is Bill Snaddon, Australian Freelance Journalist, working in Swaziland, one of the smallest countries in Africa, Swaziland is the last absolute monarchy in Africa, currently ruled by King Mswati III, the King is the head of state and appoints the prime minister and a number of representatives of both chambers of parliament.
Swaziland is a developing country, with small economy, the Sawzi population [ 1.2 million ] faces health issues, HIV/AIDS is the highest in the world with 1/4 of the population are affected, life expectancy is 48 years, was a British protectorate from 1903 until 1967, regaining independence on 6th September 1968.
