Let’s talk about Tourism in Egypt in relations to Australian Government SmartTraveller website advice
https://smartraveller.gov.au/Countries/africa/north/Pages/egypt.aspx
Advice levels
Egypt overall, reconsider your need to travel
Within 50kms of Egypt's border with Libya and Governorate of North Sinai, including the Taba-Suez Road, do not travel
We advise against all travel here due to the very high risk.
If you do travel, you should typically seek professional security advice.
Be aware that regular travel insurance policies will be void and that
The Australian Government is unlikely to be able to provide consular assistance.
Personally, I’d think twice about visiting Egypt with that advice
especially when it tells us that Australian Government is unlikely to be able to provide consular assistance
Youth with Egyptian heritage from the Diaspora were invited by the Egyptian Government to visit Egypt & build Tourism confidence
Q4] How did you feel when you heard about a group of Australians visiting Egypt, in Sep 2018 and Jan 2019 ?
