Jerry Guirguis interview Joseph Assaf, Australian Businessman and expert in the field of communication to Multicultural audiences, Member of the Order of Australia [ Queen’s birthday 2010 honour list ], publisher of his book In Somene Else’s Shoes, Mr Assaf, is founder of Ethnic Business Awards, the 26th Annual Gala dinner was celebrated this year 2014, Assaf will be speaking to us on 96.5FM - the Egyptian radio show [ Monday 1st December 2014, Melbourne ].

Joseph migrated to Australia from Lebanon at the age of 22 in 1967, “in someone else’s shoes”, in 2008 Joseph published his book In Someone’s Else’s Shoes.
Joseph pioneered multicultural communication in Australia. He founded Ethnic business Awards in 1988 and still supports and manages the Ethnic Business Awards.
Joseph has acted as an advisor to several organisations nationally and internationally.
He has served as a member of many councils, boards and committees, including:
The National Multicultural Advisory Council to the Prime Minister
The Australia Foundation for Culture and the Humanities
The Australian Constitutional Centenary Foundation
Council for Australian Arab Relations
Joseph has a long history of supporting non for profit organisations such as the Salvation Army, World Vision and many others.
