Short Story

Film the Short story according to your storyboard and script unit:

The story must have a 6 step script:

1. A main character
2. The character must have a problem
3. The character must experience his/her lowest possible point
4. The character must gain insight or knowledge, or have an idea
5. The character solves the problem
6. All is right in the world

Editing

You will have more creative freedom with the editing of this project, you may include anything that you like to the movie (titles, transitions, live type effects, sound).

Requirements:

1. (30 points) You must follow the exact storyboard that you have created (and will turn in along with this project) Storyboard Link.
2. (30 Points) Your short story must follow the 6 step script (see above).
3. (30 Points) You need to use iMovie to put your movie together
   • TO FINISH: Share > Export > Movie
   • (BONUS POINTS)OPTIONAL: You may use live type on some of your clips if you need special effects. Bonus point value will be based on the quality and creativity of the effect.
   • REMINDER: LiveType does not support SOUND, so you will need to complete this PRIOR to adjusting sound in your video.
4. (30 points) You must finish it with SoundTrack Pro. No DEAD silence. | File > Export > With Compressor
5. Turn this project in as a quicktime video to the teacher's desk in groupshares | Your project will not be graded until it is turned in as a quicktime video.
6. (10 points) Name this project: ShortStory[GroupLetter]-lastname
7. MUST: Before you close out of everything PREVIEW the video. Make sure it makes sense, has all clean edits, the voices and sounds align.
