LOOKING FOR SOFTWARE FOR YOUR HOME?

Students who wish to purchase the software for their home computers will receive a student discount through Adobe.

As of 2015, Adobe is going all subscription base for their newest software. Meaning you need to pay a monthly fee to subscribe to the software instead of installing it from a disk. This is called Adobe CC (creative cloud) You will still receive a student discount.

This has it's pros and cons:

PROS = you will always have the LATEST & GREATEST software version, you will have 24/7 adobe support, your software will never get outdated, you can access the software & your files from anywhere in the world

CONS= you need to pay each month to keep the software, you never actually "own" the software

Versions of the earlier software is Adobe CS6 and under.

Mrs. Hodas personally owns Adobe Photoshop CS6, and the school uses Adobe Photoshop CS5 (coming soon= the school will be using Adobe Photoshop CS6 beginning in the 2015-16 school year), \

TOO EXPENSIVE? Adobe also makes a software called Adobe Photoshop ELEMENTS. It is a basic starter software that cost significantly less than the FULL pro version of Adobe Photoshop
