WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

  1. Film a piece of a group project
  2. Awareness of screen direction.
  3. Continuous Action Editing

FILMING WITH GROUP

Football Toss Filming:

1. Each student will film according to their card

2. Ball must come IN from a given direction and then be thrown OUT to the given direction

3. Be aware of lead room/nose room.

IN If your ball is coming in from the sides: Stand at the opposite side, so that the ball has room to come in.

OUT If your ball is being thrown out to one of the sides, stand at the opposite side, and throw the ball out in that direction.

Avoid standing in the center of all shots!

4. Check your work... make sure that you can see the ball traveling!

Storyboard

SHARING FOOTAGEFootball Toss Footage Preparation:

1. GROUP: import footage & create a quicktime to share with the group

2. INDIVIDUAL: create a NEW iMovie project title: # (use your football #)

3. Create a film of JUST your one individual football toss number

4. Add a RED title before your footage of the football toss: Type your number in the title

5. Export a file, and save it in the sharing files folder. Use your # as the file name

• file name example: 12-lastname

6. Create ONE video of your group's grand finale. Place the grand finale footage into your group letter's sharing files folder.
