You will create a simple, memorable photography logo!

Requirements:

1. Logo1: Vector with Text
   1. Download a vector file from the internet ---or---
   2. Use a vector file from groupshares
2. Logo2: Paired Text
   1. Two very different styles of text such as a script and a san serif
3. Logo3: Vector with Paired Text
   1. combine #1 and #2
4. Logo4: Initials
   1. Use your first or last or both initials and create a design
   2. Make it LARGE
   3. Include "your name photography" along with the initial
5. Logo5: 1-3 letters with shape
   1. This is similar to a monogram
   2. Use 1-3 of your initials
   3. Place the initials within a shape
6. Logo6: Modified Letter
   1. Create outlines out of one (or more) letters
   2. To create outlines follow this method:
      1. Select the letter with the move tool (black arrow)
      2. Go up to Type > Create outlines
      3. Deselect your letter by click "somewhere else"
      4. Use the direct selection tool (white arrow) to click back on the outline of the letter
      5. Adjust the paths by pulling the anchors or handles

1. www.dafont.com
2. You may use ANY font website to download your fonts, just know, many of the sites are blocked at school. daFont currently is NOT blocked.

GRAPHICS

1. Use the vectors files from the digital resource file in GROUPSHARES
2. www.pixabay.com search for vectors
3. http://vectorlady.com/
4. You may use ANY VECTOR website to download your fonts, just know, many of the sites are blocked at school. VectorLady currently is NOT blocked.
5. You may NOT use COPYRIGHTED graphics
6. You may draw your own vector using adobe illustrator

TURING YOUR ASSIGNMENT IN

1. Convert all of your designs to solid black & white only
2. Place all 6 of your logos on ONE page
3. Select ALL type & graphics (command A)
4. DON'T SKIP THIS ----> Create outlines: Type > Create outlines <-- MOST IMPORTANT PART
5. File > Save As: logo-lastname FORMAT: PDF
6. Open PDF file with preview
7. Annotate, add a NOTE to tell me your favorite logo design rating them 1-6
   1. #1 is your favorite
   2. #6 is your least favorite
8. Save
