A Weekend of Theater in Denver

Thanks to a generous grant from the Mount Sneffels Foundation, twelve high school students will have the opportunity to travel to Denver to see four shows. In addition, students will witness the creative process, talk with theater professionals, and tour cultural sites.

All meals, lodging, theater tickets, and transportation are included! Students are responsible for $125 (non-refundable) commitment, as well as snacks and incidentals.

Itinerary:

Friday, 16 September: Leave Ouray by 9:00 am. Lunch on the road. Check in to lodging. 7:30 pm performance of The Children at Butterfly Effect Theater Company.

Saturday, 17 September: Breakfast and laid-back morning at house. Lunch at Yak and Yeti. 2 pm performance of Into the Woods at the Arvada Center. Dinner out. 7:30 pm performance of Heroes of the Fourth Turning at Curious Theater.

Sunday, 18 September: Breakfast at house. 9 am departure for Denver Art Museum. 1:30 pm performance of The Chinese Lady at the Denver Center Theater Company. The long drive. Dinner on the road. Return about 10:30 pm.
