Electives

The Ouray High School English department offers a rotating selection of electives. These enrich the curriculum, but do not accrue towards the four required English credits for graduation.

• Journalism
• Creative Writing (fiction or poetry or creative non-fiction)
• Acting (Shakespeare, modern, improv)
• Public Speaking (Debate, mock-trial, Social issue)
