Reflection at the end of the Year

Take a moment to review the vision here.

Everything we do at Ouray School is designed, we hope, to help you to

"Climb the Peak,"

to help you to grow in

Courage, Tenacity, and Purpose.

We think that the six C's -

Create, think Critically, Collaborate,

Communicate, Contribute, and Contemplate

- we think that these six habits are the essential tools you'll use

to Climb the Peak throughout your life.

So our question, here at the end of the year, is:

How have you grown?

Can you see it?

Can you show us?

Pick any two "C's",

and create a google doc, presentation, or site

that demonstrates your growth in these two areas.

Include the following elements for EACH (of your two) "C". Try to discuss "C's" you didn't talk about last year.

  1. Narrative: Tell the story, vividly, of an experience or lesson that helped you grow in that area.
  2. Artifact: Attach some piece of evidence--a picture, a school assignment, a testimonial, anything--that shows something about your progress.
  3. Explanation: How does the artifact relate? What are you proud of? How are you changed because of that experience?
  4. Aspiration: What is your growth edge in this "C"? What do you hope for in this area, in the coming year? How can we help, here at school?

The experiences you describe might be curricular, extracurricular, or personal. Totally up to you.

Put your materials in the DRIVE folder you made previously...

entitled LastnameF Reflection 20XX (your class year)

(Junior Vladimir Daffodil would call it: DaffodilV Reflection 2019)

Make sure the folder is shared with me.

Separate each year's reflections into their own folders.
