Sadgurusarvasvom
Chattampi Swami (1853-1924) was a Hindu sage and social reformer who is considered to be the harbinger of renaissance in Kerala. His works were the earliest views from teh side of the marginalize in south India on religion, history, society, and politics. Sadguru Sarvasvom also known as 'Balahva Swami Charanabharanam' is the biography of Swamikal by Aranmula Narayana Pilla Vaidyan. It was written in Devanagari script and was published in 1907 from Ksashi.. It covers only his spiritual quest and describes his life up to his age of 55. Provides detail of the spiritual practices he undertook to reach the stage of jeevanmuktha. As it was published when Swamikal was alive and as the author was one who has watched the life of Swami closely, and also a sanyasin on his line who underwent the spiritual processes Swami underwent the work is considered authentic.
