Advaitha Chintha Paddhathi

Advaitha Chintha Paddathi by Chattampi Swami is intended as a guideon Vedanta for the common man. It was first published in book form in 1946. Authentic editions is published by Theerthapada Asramam Vazhoor (1946) and Panman Asramam (2008) and Most of the books on Vedanta are in Sanskirt. Even after numeous commentaries and translations of such books came in English and Hindhi there was no work that can be of use to those who know only Malaylam the regional language of Kerala. Advaitha Chintha Paddathi is a book written in simple Malaylam language to enable ordinary people without knowledge of Sanskrit to learn Vedanta. It is even now the best introductory manual availble on on practical Advaita. The book describes with clarity the trigunas, trimurthees, jivatmas, akasadibhoothas, sooshma stoola sareerotpathi sthithi, dasagunas, prapancholpathi, Tatva masi, and related Vedic concepts. It explains Advaita Siddantha, which is the cream of Hindu religious thought, in accordance with sruthi, yukthi and anubhava. It can serve as a guide to the novices in spiritual path. The first edition contained four parts named Adhyaropa Vadangal, Tatvamasi Mahavakyopadesam, Chathurveda Maha Vakyangal, and Sruthisara Mahavakya Prakaranam. In the next edition the other three related works of Swami named Sareera Tatva Sangraham, Jaganmidyatvavum Brahma Sakshatkaravum, Manonasam –Suddhatvaitha Bhavana etc were added. Combining of all these parts makes Advaita Chintha Paddathi a complete manual on Vedanta
