Gurudev H H Swami Abhedanandaji Maharaj (1909- 1983) consides himself as a disciple of Chattampi Swamikal and is an apostle of 20^th century for propagating the Divine names of the Lord. He found two Ashrams, one at Arayoor and the other at Trivandrum. He started Akhanda Nama Japam of Mahamanthra in both Ashrams. He introduced system of collective worship of God through Laksharchana and Kodi Archana in various parts of India.
