India is under lock down. There will be a complete bar on people from stepping outsides their homes. The decision will have an economic cost but saving people's lives is of paramount interest to government. Just stay at home! It took 67 days for the first lakh people to be infected from corona virus. It only took 11 days for the next 1 lakh to be infected. Even more scary is the fact that it took only four days for the figure to rise to 3 lakhs".
Social distancing is the only way to combat novel
corona virus. If we don't handle these 21 days well, then our country, your family will go backward by 21 years.
Social distancing is not only for infected people but for every citizen, including the Prime Minister. Every Indian is my family. I am speaking this not as a prime minister today, but like your family member. Please patiently follow the 21-day lock-down. To save the lives of every Indian is my, the state government and the central government's biggest priority.

In India there will be a complete bar for 21 days on people from stepping outsides their homes.However, those who travel in private vehicles need to give a self-declaration stating their reason for travel, time of travel, vehicle number, passenger details etc. The police will cross check the declaration if required and legal action will be taken against those who misuse this
Cases will be registered against people moving out without legitimate reasons. The basic reason for this lock down is to prevent transmission of the disease. All have to obey the government orders and not to venture out unnecessarily for the sake of the country and its people.
