RMS Choice Project
You will be able to combine the skills you have learned this year to independently produce media you choose, plan, record, edit and present to an audience.
The audience will be your peers, teachers and administrators and your family.
The choice will be either:
Create a chroma key adventure. You will accomplish this with a blue screen, costumes, props, and scale models. The story should have a protagonist with a dramatic need, who makes a choice (break into 2), faces obstacles, and either overcomes the obstacles or learns something from the situation (resolution, moral, theme…) Think about the twist or catch at the end that will add interest and humor. Under 3 minutes.
Create 2 Renegade Morning Show Segments where you participate in planning, producing, and editing. Under 2 minutes. Examples could be…
club, sport, activity or individual highlight- positive news
entertainment, music, fashion, apps, game, technology review, Trends- research and talk about it. Ex. spinners? Rubic cube, bottle flipping, year in review, fashion
man on the street interviews (brainstorm a list of good open ended questions, no yes or no, choose one)
Behind the Scenes - taking a peek in what goes on in an aspect of the school
How to video, ex. tips and tricks, how to research college, how to train for a sport or activity
Gameshow- can it be done in studio, can it be done in the hallway/cafe…
Event coverage- could be an advertisement promo or highlight summary recap.
Recreate/spoof a scene, commercial, youtube video or opening to any show. Can you put your own spin on it?
Produce the whole Renegade Morning Show. Help create the segments, write the leadlines, cast and crew the show.
