Make a Library in FCPX on the Lacie Drive connected to your iMac as described in the video and below. Show me, then move on to the next objective.
The Library should be named:

After watching the video, you will be able to create a new Event in your Library.
Import the footage from your SD card to your Event.
Create a Project in your Event.
Show where your files are located on the Lacie Drive.

Assignment 10pts:
Create an Event. Import footage in the Event. Create a Project in your Event. Show the results in the Finder to the instructor for approval.
Important Checkpoint: Show proper file management in the Finder. You should see all the files in the Library on the Lacie drive (crtl+click show package contents), and you should be able to explain what each file and folder is and does.
Third Objective:
You will be able to edit each shot in order according to the project shot sheet.
You will be able to set the duration each shot to 5 seconds.
You will add text lower thirds that are title safe as an attached clip above each 5 second shot for the entire 5 seconds. The text overlay will be the shot title abbreviation.

Get all shots approved.
Create a full screen title with Photoshop.-Photoshop Tutorial.

Finishing Up Objectives:
You will be able to export a video in HD for YouTube, upload to your YouTube account, copy the embed code from YouTube into a new Blogger post with the shot type as the title.
