Setting Up Nikon d3400
Camera ON switch
MODE wheel check- first project we’ll shoot aperture priority (A)
Check ISO- set to 100, check menu>camera>ISO Sensitivity> Auto Sensitivity control Off
Check lens, 35mm or 50mm
First time shooting card format it. Menu>Wrench>Format Memory card
Check Exposure compensation. Set it to 0.
Check Image Quality-Menu>Camera>IMage Quality- NEF RAW + JPG Fine
Set Iris to 1.8
Shutter is Auto
Find Light.
Half hold shutter button to focus/set exposure (shutter speed will be changing depending on where the red dot is)
Full press to take the picture.
