Updates will be posted here. Once you confirm your attendance, we will make sure your name is on list.

First 15 teams will be taken. Be aware that will be a tight fit on the start line.

Seven runners allowed in Varsity Race.

8:00 Girls Varsity Start,

8:35 Boys Varsity Start,

9:10 Girls and Boys JV Start.

Entry Fee: $60 per School

Deadlines: For registration will be Wednesday, August 24, 6 p.m

Registration will be online at flrunners.com

Varsity status does not need to be determined until race day.

Course: Whispering Pines is well known as one of the best courses in the area. It is mostly shaded and a mixture of small hills and flat stretches. Because of the small starting area, we are limiting the number of schools. Approx. 2.5 miles hard-packed dirt trails, .2 asphalt, .2 limerock, .2 grass

From downtown Inverness (intersection of HWY 44 and HWY 41) and Citrus High School, Turn right at the first light after SweetBay, Pleasant Grove (or Forest Drive). First right into park. Park busses at first large parking lot by baseball fields.

Parking: As you enter Whispering Pines Park, bus parking will be To the right at the stop sign. For additional parking for cars, turns left and go to roundabout. There is some parking at the pool and a small parking area near the field where the start/finish will be staged.

Limited Space: We can only have a limited number of teams at the start line. Registration will be open to the first 15 Boys and Girls teams that register and checks are received.

Finishing Instructions: Finish line assistants will record bib numbers. Be sure that your athletes continue thru to the end. Please have a coach or parent near finish to assist if needed.

Awards: Varsity Trophies – Top Two teams. JV Trophy for 1^st place. Ribbons- Top 20 Varsity,
