Final Rosters emailed to each school on May 12

Update on procedures updated on May 11 and sent in email on May 12. Read carefully

Each athlete has a bib number. There are 411 athletes in computer.

Distance Runners need four safety pins and wear their bib with all four safety pins on upper chest level.

All other runners/jumpers can use two safety pins to secure their bib.

Relay assignments: if your school chooses not to do a relay, let us know ASAP. If two schools opt out of relays, they can be re seeded and only one heat of each. Once the events begins, it is not quite as easy but still can be done.

All athletes will be clerked and entered into the computer by their bib number. In the 100, 200, 400 meters, please tell your athletes which 'heat they enter'. Put your faster runner in the second heat. If all school have two runners per sprint, there will be three heats and we will rotate lanes.

Field Event Sheets are done. There are two flights in the following: long jump and shot put. Each school has one competitor per flight. PUT your better jumper/thrower in the SECOND flight. High Jump just will sign in at the event.

Reminder the mile(1600 Meters) will be run during the field events. There will be two heats of the girls' mile and two heats of the boys'mile. Use the times below to determine the heat your athlete runs. The second heat will be the faster heat. If the numbers are low in the faster heat, obviously, more can go in the fast heat. The key is no lapping of runners unless no choice.

Break points for 1600 meters (milers)

Boys' mile= 6:25 down and 6:26 up

Girls' mile = 6:45 down and 6:46 up
