School Rulz Two Miler and Half Mile Fun

Lecanto High School

Event day registration: 6:45-7:50 a.m.

UPDATE, August 10: there will be a 5K time trial, also. The two miles and those who prefer the 5K will go at the same time and then the 5K runners will continue on to complete the last 1.1 miles. Ribbons will be for the Two Mile event as stated below. Winner of time trial will win a Colors for CASA t shirt. Time Trial 2nd-6th places will receive their choice of tie dyed socks or hand towel.

Wear your favorite school’s COLORS!! Represent the school of your choice. The winning school will receive at least 100 dollars for school supplies for their students in need. For a school to win, that school must have a minimum of 20 participants.

ALL PROFITS will be donated to CASA, an abuse shelter for survivors of domestic violence. For more information on CASA, please click on CASA link above.

Course begins and ends on track for two mile; Half mile begins between LHS and Crest and finishes on the track

8:00 a.m. for Two Miler; 8:35 for Half Mile FUN!

Who?

The following classifications for two-miler:

Elementary School PreK through 2nd grade, Elementary School 3rd-5th grade, Middle School, High School, Adult classifications

ALL ages—1 through 100!!!!!!

Cost:

Two- miler=$6.00.There will be race day registration

Half Mile= $3.00= Individual

$6.00= Family up to five

$9.00= Six or more in family

(monies will be collected in mail in registrations to Lecanto High School OR drop off registrations at Lecanto High School ATT: Freddie Bullock OR drop off registrations at Crystal River Middle School ATT: Colleen Epstein OR event day)

There must be a registration form for mail in.

Donations will be taken.

Once again, you can register by returning Registration form and monies to those listed above or you can just email the following information to Freddie Bullock at bullockf@citrus.k12.fl.us or Colleen Epstein at epsteinc@citrus.k12.fl.us no later than August 21, 8 p.m.

Awards

Top three male and female in each classification will get a small ribbon

All who participate will be given at least two school supplies!!, i .e., pencil, eraser, etc..

Discount registration for the Third Annual Colors for CASA Charity 5K OR choose a free pair of tie dyed socks as long as they last to register.

Registration needed ONLY for Two Miler and Time Trial

If doing time trial instead of two mile, write it on registration in pen above your name.

For the HALF MILE, all will receive a sticker for participation; also, a popsicle stick with their place and the ability to write times as they finish. We will have a table set up to decorate, etc. if you wish.
