From EFL/ESL to ENFL

If you still regard English as one of the foreign languages, please reconsider your position. I, together with many others, would like to make it clear here that "English is not a foreign language." What, then, is its status, one may ask. It's the most important international languages. In fact, it's the real global language.

Most Thais may still view English as a foreign language like French and Spanish. Reflecting on this for a few seconds, onw would question one's assumption. English has come a long way, extending its domians of use and influences to a certain level or status. English is an expression of self and one's cultural identity, as well as being a means for communication.
