This year, the Grade 8 Global Learners held an incredible performance for their parents in order to demonstrate the knowledge and skills they acquired this past year. They put on some shows and a carnival to teach their parents about the many different topics covered in class. Throughout the carnival, they taught their parents about such things as different methods of producing food, how technology has impacted our lives, investing money, and renewable forms of energy. Their dedication and hard work resulted in a fun, high-energy environment that demonstrated their language skills and entertained their parents.
今年,八年級國際英語班的學生,為了展示他們在過去一年中所學到的知識與技能,為家長們帶來了一場精彩的成果展現。安排了一些演出與嘉年華活動,向家長們介紹課堂中所涵蓋的各種主題。在嘉年華期間,他們向家長們講解了多種食物生產方式、科技如何影響我們的生活、投資理財的觀念,以及可再生能源的形式。他們的投入與努力營造出一個充滿活力且有趣的氛圍,不僅展現了他們的語言能力,也讓家長們收穫滿滿、樂在其中。

This year’s Grade 7 Global Learners Outcome Performance centered on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our class hosted 17 stations—one for each goal. Each group delivered a 10-minute presentation to parents, explaining their assigned goal, its relevance to students’ lives, and how both students and the local community can contribute to achieving it.
In addition, we featured a station highlighting our yearlong curriculum, showcasing the novels we read, the projects we completed, and the core components of our Global Learners English program.
To make the experience more engaging, students created personalized passports for their parents and designed unique stamps representing their assigned SDG. The event also included interactive games and a group performance of an English song, bringing everyone together in a fun and meaningful way.
I am incredibly proud of our J1D-E students for their dedication and hard work. They invested tremendous effort, and the outcome was truly impressive. Well done, everyone!
今年七年級的國際英語組成果發表會以「聯合國永續發展目標」(SDGs)為主題,我們設置了17個展示站,每個站代表一項永續發展目標。每組學生向家長進行約10分鐘的簡報,介紹他們負責的目標、這項目標與學生生活的關聯性,以及學生與社區可以如何一起努力實現該目標。
此外,我們還設立了一個展示站,介紹本年度所學課程內容,包括閱讀的小說、完成的專案,以及Global Learners英語課程的核心教材。
為了讓活動更加有趣,學生們為家長設計了專屬護照,並創作了代表他們SDG目標的原創印章。當天我們也安排了互動遊戲,並一同演唱英文歌曲,讓大家在輕鬆愉快的氛圍中互動交流。
我為學生們的努力與投入感到無比驕傲。他們付出了極大的心力,成果也非常令人讚賞。大家辛苦了,做得非常好!

This year’s Grade 10 Outcome Performance highlighted the many engaging topics we explored throughout the academic year. These included our TAS trip to see their performance of Puffs, as well as projects on important global and historical subjects such as plastic pollution, Harriet Tubman’s fight for freedom, Jackie Robinson’s pioneering role in Major League Baseball, education advocate Malala Yousafzai, and the Space Race.
Students also shared insights from English magazine articles they enjoyed, including features on the Michelin Guide and hemophilia. Working in small groups, students devised creative ways to present their topics—using short role-plays, interactive games, slide presentations, and even an English song.
Parents were treated to a student-directed upcycling video and were introduced to key features of our program, such as the Hero’s Journey literary framework and Litterati—a tool that turns litter cleanup into a digital learning experience.
Each presentation reflected the students’ growth and creativity, capturing the richness of their learning journey. The entire event was student-led, and what they accomplished in a short time was truly remarkable. Hats off to S1A for their teamwork, energy, and thoughtful presentations—your team-first spirit made this event a real success!
今年高一國際英語班成果發表會精彩呈現了我們在整個學年中所探索的多元主題。其中包括前往TAS觀賞話劇《Puffs》的校外教學,以及關於全球與歷史重要議題的專題報告,例如塑膠汙染、為自由奮鬥的哈莉特・塔布曼(Harriet Tubman)、打破種族藩籬的棒球先驅傑基・羅賓森(Jackie Robinson)、教育倡議者瑪拉拉・優薩夫賽(Malala Yousafzai),以及太空競賽。
學生們也分享了他們在英語雜誌中喜愛的文章內容,包括米其林指南(Michelin Guide)和血友病(Hemophilia)等主題。小組合作下,每組學生都以創意十足的方式呈現他們的主題,例如短劇演出、互動遊戲、簡報展示,甚至是英文歌曲表演。
