The Heads On The Shelf

Artist Statement: For this assignment we had to take an image and re create it so it would be colored in some way. I chose to take this photo, first my idea was to just color in hair, eyes, lips, sun, and maybe the sky. I just started doodling eventually and it came out to this. Do I like it? No, I don't like it because it looks pretty weird and crappy to me.

Some things I would change would be to pick a different photo to color on and too not color on it with sharpie because it doesn't come out very good. I would color it or try to color it with colored pencils next time because you can get more smooth colors and they don't come out shiny and many other things like sharpies, I love sharpies but not on this kind of paper.

This photo has no story behind it and no meaning, I just mostly colored very random spots and didn't want to do anything else to the image.
