Pure Contour

Artist Statement (Shoes): For this assignment I had to do three different drawings of my shoes. A side view, top of the shoe and front view.

Something I had a little trouble with was drawing the front view of the shoe because it was kind of difficult. The top view was probably the easiest out of all of them. We then did three different drawings of parts that were zoomed in.

Artist Statement (Hand): For this assignment I had to draw my hand and shoes. I had to make sure to draw every line that was very noticeable and then I had to draw every feature of my hand.

One thing I struggled with during this assignment would have been that I had a hard time drawing my thumb at first and then once I got that I had a hard time drawing fingers because they would come out looking like E.T. fingers and it was making me mad. I then asked for help and figured out how to make them better and I also paid more attention to my hand.
