Circle Project

Artist Statement: For this assignment I had to draw something that had a circle or circles in it. We could do the circles any way we wanted to and I chose to draw an eyeball and have the circle be the pupil. I chose to draw an eye because I like drawing eyes and the pupil would be great for the circle project.

One thing I don't like about this drawing is the eyelashes and how big the eye ball looks compared to the rest of the drawing. It just looks like it doesn't evenly fit together like I thought and wished it would've.

One thing I like about this is how all the shading came out. It's not perfect and you can still see some lines in it but I think it looks cool. I also decided to make the pupil very black, using a sharpie. Because I started to use a 6B pencil and it wasn't as dark as I wished it to be. So I decided to use a sharpie.
