06. Glass/Transparency

Artist Statement: For this assignment we had to do a glass and transparency image. For my image I used a lens protecter piece from my camera for the glass part then I put my camera in the back.

How I created this before image was I set my camera how I liked it, turned the flash off on my phone and made it so it looked like the lens protecter was framing the camera.

This was my first time fully using photoshop to edit something out so I didn't do a good job but what I did was I got rid of the straps in the background and made it look like the straps weren't even there. I actually like the straps being in the back because they fill up the empty space in the photo. But I wanted to edit them out and see what it'd look like. If I took more time clone stamping things I probably could have done a better job but I was trying for a while and still screwed up.
