ScratchBoard

My scratchboard is about my jacket with three stripes. The setting is me wearing the jacket while lighting up some fire works for the new year. The Material I used is sharp scratching material that the teacher gave us to use. I chose this to draw because It just came to my eyes and I liked the 3 stripes.

When I was drawing it the element I used are Balancing and Contrast. The composition rule & techniques are informal balance. I use it to make the art more real. I basically filled in any space on the paper but 3 space to make it active and because I messed up something in one of the space.

The meaning of this art is to make the art to make it looks realistic and catching peoples eyes. This relates to my life because it is my first time to make art on scratch board and once it is scratched it can not filled in again, so its hard to make it perfect.
