This work called Sign. The idea behind this work is that poeple avoid road signs and the signs just faded and becomes useless but the meaning on the sign is a ! which shows that the signs importantence and based my topic question of the projects, which is "What if objects go upside down?" it was created upside down. This work relates to the question because the side was upside down which people dont usually see, it is upside down and folded so it would stand up.

The work is made using acrylic paint. I started painting the background and I was wanting to make a desert but with no much details, so I only did yellow for sand and blue for the sky. For the sign, I used a diamond shaped paper I cut out and fold it to make a prefrence.

I used the elements of shape, and form. And I used the principle of design of balance by making a the diamond shape folded on the ground with a shade for the shadow of the sign. My project evolves from pure red and black on the sign with no scratched to a mark I acceiendly created and made more to get a old and faded visual. For the future, I would do more details on the bacground and make it all look realistic.
