Sustained Investigation #15

3.5''x6''

This work is call TeaSet. The idea behind this work is have a teapot and a set of tea cup to kinda spill out the tea and that the tea is going to drip up instead of dripping down. By connecting it to my topic, the tea water is going against gravity and it is going upside down.

The work is made using materials of color markers because staying at home and cant go out, this is all I can access to use right now. For the inspiration Ive got it from thinking while I drank tea using the classic Chinese tea pot. For this project, I didn't use a background because that the markers will ruin the paper so I create the table by sections of it like its fading out, so it gives out some balance to the art.

I used the elements of shape, form. And I used the principle of design of space by making the wood table incomplete on purpose and in sections making it having more characteristic . If to change or continue on this work, I think I would use a different material like oil pastel because it will make it more realistic and faded.
