Beautiful Oops

I’m calling this project, the money man because he is digging for the money for a long time now. The subject is a abstract work based off two drop of ink that the teacher did on the paper. I chose to create this specific work because I just thought about it and making the ink drop eyes.

For materials, I used colored pencils. I used a variety of techniques and methods including outlining. While creating this work, I paid close attention to the details of the face and the coin. The color and shape. I wanted my artwork to look like a oil painting and I didn't make that happened by using poor color choices.

To add interest to my composition, I used balanced and contrast. I like the way it looks funny and ugly and I am proud of it because noone wants to make ugly artworks. However, I struggled with my mind thinking that this was a good piece of drawing. If I created another work like this I may make it look good and not like this. My work shows that I learned how to get the mind set of improving the art.
