I named this project''Tengu''. The meaning of this art is to use any material that can turn into a structure. The subject is about a red faced creature that is called the Tengu, and it lives in the tales of japan. I chose to create this specific work because I wanted to do a face and I came across a emoji that represent the tengu and decided to do one.

I used a variety of techniques and methods including: balance and contrast. While creating this work, I paid close attention to making the face a face and 3D. So I grab a thin layers of paper and make small paper bricks and like building a wall, I built a face.

To add interest to my composition, I used balance, color blocking and texture... I used red paper and shredded it and glued on the face and black on the mustache. In the end I also used paint to color in the empty spaces. I like this project, because it really challenged me when making a 3D model of something that huge.
