Semester 2 Reflection

This semester I am finding my own voice and creating my own unique style and ideas and trying to be connecting my art to myself in some ways. And Ive been using different kinds of material like paints, pencils and ink products...to make these idea in my head flow out and create an artwork that most match the idea I was thinking about. This half year I improved by generating more ideas for a project then ever before and using more color that I don't usual use on the palette... One thing I didn't improve in is the perspectives of angles, the way that an objects looks in a different angles. I still need to work hard on that. Especially near the end of the semester, on quarantine, material is limited and I will still try to use different color markers to make art.

My inquiry question is: What if objects you see in daily life positions itself in an unusual way? This question let me focus more on thinking creatively and had challenged me to generate a few great ideas and series of projects. Such as balloons that is flat but still floats, road sign that is standing upside down and trees that are flipped upside down too. I had fun making art around this question but still need more detail on why I chose it, whats the meaning behind it? and how could it relate to my life or others.

My artistic goals for the next year are trying my hardest to not lack on the time dedicated to the artwork and making projects that will be turned in on time, also improving my media skills which I think I lack in semester 2 for rushing and taking too much time. I also need to improve persepctihves and drawing realistic, because I think that is the only way to become pro is to master those skills. And like I said in the beginning, to improve on my inquiry question and be ready for creating my own portfolio, or learning good for Ap art history.
