Do you like summer camps ? Then you're in luck because here are three fun camps you can go to this summer. The camps are YMCA camp, Wonder Camp, and Camp Rock by Boys and Girls club. Well, now let's explore these fun camps all in Bloomington, IN. As well as most of these camps including swimming and outdoor adventure ,while some of the summer camps focus on the indoors and science adventure.
Kids at YMCA Camp
At YMCA summer camp they provide a very exciting and safe community for people to explore the outdoors and develop skills. As well as a place to make new friends. The YMCA camp was voted Best B-Town winner for best summer camp 2025. As well as being all over Indiana so there should be one near you. According to monroecountyYMCA.org, at the YMCA camp, you can go swimming. Based on your location you can go exploring in the woods or even messing around on playgrounds. Usually the swimming is inside so you don’t have to worry about getting burnt or it being too cold to swim. When going to the camp be sure to be ready to explore the woods and bring hats and sunscreen.
Wonder Camp is available from anybody at ages kindergarten to eighth. At wonder camp you have lots of time to play with creativity and have fun and build. As well as science experiments. You can do many things at wonder camp from building to playing with sand. Wonder Camp is also a safe and happy environment for anyone that goes. When going to this camp you don’t have to bring any safety gear because it is indoors and you don’t do activities in the woods. When going to this camp all you have to be ready for is fun and indoor activities.

Camp Rock is a camp by the Boys and Girls Club where you can do fun outdoor activities for everyone. bgcbloomington.org said, “Camp Rock is so honored to be a top choice for summer programming for many Monroe County families”. Camp Rock can have many different themes every year. At Camp Rock you get to go swimming, fish, and even do archery one day. Each summer there will be a camp per week which means there are ten themes including Camp Carnival, Astounding Artists, Once Upon A Time, and Color Wars. With each camp having either a field trip or an experience like a carnival. As well as you get dropped off at a building then get driven to Camp Rock which at a few camps you can get Kona Ice or even go to zoos at certain camps they hold there.
In conclusion these summer camps available in Bloomington are looking fun and exciting, so if you have nothing or barely nothing going on this summer look into joining or signing up for these summer camps. Even if you have stuff to do this summer and don’t like camps, these are looking very fun and are ready for new visitors right this summer. Once a fun summer camp is always a fun summer camp.
