Pathways Is a center for early child development that helps people to live the best life possible. Pathways is not like any other early learning center, because it has many things that make it unique in the preschool business.
Although Compass early learning center[run by pathways] isn’t free, families that attend pathways and earn a lower income can receive help from Pathways. Pathways raises money to provide help to these people, not to provide simple bandaid solutions, but to actually transform people’s lives for the better. The cornerstone of pathways is Compass early learning center. There, Compass provides high-quality education for kids 1-5 but at an affordable price.
Children at Pathways usually have a good experience there.
Compass provides quality education and care for children for long hours. This releases the stress off of parents to care for their kids. But another way they take stress off parents overall is helping to improve their quality of life. Pathways has many initiatives they enact to help lower-income families to live well. They don’t focus on small bandaid solutions, they focus on completely transforming the families for the better. A few ways they do this are things like Food drives and auction events to raise money to help them. In which, volunteers who sign up work to bring in donations of food or money. An example of this is a food drive they hold named each one feed one. They send two volunteers out per location to grocery stores to ask for food donations.
Pathways works to help transform families for the better, but they can’t do that without help. A good way to help this good organization is to volunteer for their events. Katie Broadfoot said, “Pathways is the ONLY non-profit organization in Monroe county devoted to working towards long-term solutions for the people we help.” Which in itself is the reason you should invest money, or even time, into Pathways. They also hold up to 10-12 events a year that people can attend. Kristin Martindale, a board member at pathways said, “Although pathways are facing rough times, we won’t go back on our policies or take drawback measures. That would go against everything we stand for.” Basically, Pathways could use all the help they can get to achieve their goals.
All in all Pathways is an organization in Monroe County that is absolutely worthy of the people of the people of Ellettsville [and Bloomington’s] support. Because their initiatives to help people in Monroe county are very much honorable. And If people work together to help Pathways, so many people will be aided in their hard times as a family.
