Have you ever wanted to try something new but never got the chance? Then, you should try Chick fil-A’s new items and see if it’s worth it. Like the S'mores Milkshake, S'mores Coffee and the Chicken and Waffles. The items are only available August 24th through November 14th. Now let's see if the items are worth the hype or not.

The first thing that’s new is the S'mores Milkshake. When I first heard that there is a s'mores milkshake I got really excited about it and I went straight to get it. The milkshake is featuring an Ice dream soft serve dessert with graham crackers crumbs, chocolate shortbread, and marshmallow flavored syrup. When people drink the milkshake they get a taste of the marshmallow flavor and bits of graham cracker. The milkshakes texture is unsteady because when people drink the milkshake you don’t always get the bits of the graham and when you get something it barely gets through the straw! What I would fix about the drink is making the straw a bit bigger. But overall, the milkshake tasted really good. And anyone who likes smores will love the milkshake. I would rate it a 9/10.
The second thing that is new in Chick-Fil-A’s is their Chicken and Waffles sandwich. When I first heard that Chick-Fil-A was releasing it I wasn’t sure the combinations would work. But when I tried the sandwich it was like a breakfast explosion! Because the sandwich had chicken, waffles, bacon, and syrup and people can also get the spicy version of the sandwich. When customers bite into the sandwich they get a texture of crunchy from the bacon, crispy from the chicken and soft from the waffles. What would be better about the sandwich is if the waffles had more flavor. Chick-Fil-A should just stick to their regular chicken sandwiches. I rate the sandwich a 7/10.

The third thing that is new is the S'mores Frosted Coffee. The s'mores coffee is made with a blend of cold-brewed coffee with marshmallow syrup, Ice dream dessert, chocolate shortbread and some tasty graham crackers crumbs. Mrs. Ayer says “I wasn’t too thrilled to try the milkshake. But when I tried the milkshake it tasted like a Mocha Frappe by another coffee company.” Is it fair to say that Chick-Fil-A did not succeed in market tactic “Campfire Favorite” when creating this fall seasonal lineup? Other than lack of marshmallow flavor Mrs. Ayer says, “The chocolate syrup gave it a good blend. The chocolate shortbread and graham cracker gave the milkshake a good crunch although getting the chunks through proved some challenging times.” In all, Mrs. Ayer says, “I would give Chick-Fil-A an “A” for effort, but if being honest, Chick-Fil-A doesn’t need to get fancy and creative to lure people to go to Chick-Fil-A.”
In conclusion, Chick-Fil-A has a new fall menu with smores flavored things like the milkshake, coffee and Chick-Fil-A’s new chicken and waffles sandwich. If including all the foods I tried I would give Chick-Fil-A’s new menu items an 8/10. But Chick-Fil-A should just stick to regular chicken sandwiches. But the Milkshake and Coffee had good taste but could make the straws a bit bigger.
