On April 2nd, Trump imposed tariffs, a tax that affected Europe and America. According to the BBC and NBC, some think the tariffs will benefit from this country, while others think they will harm it. The facts will do the talking, though, so let's examine them.
We shouldn’t argue or fight.
Here are some reasons why they’re good. It puts heavier prices on stuff coming from Europe into America, limiting how much stuff we get from Europe. The tariffs also prevent unfair trades. The tariffs prevent companies from selling products at below-market prices and protect companies that are important to the government. The tariffs promote strategic advantages for the economy and more economic benefits for the government.
Here are some reasons why the tariffs are bad: First, the tariffs unfairly tax other countries. The countries affected by the tariffs are strained by this tax. The tariffs also affect the people in America, creating some major problems within states. The tariffs cause public problems, and the tariffs cause higher consumer prices because of reduced trade. And the tariffs could cause potential trade wars
Now, as we examine the facts, we can see that the people of the states have different views on the tariffs. Some people think that the tariffs are good, while some people think they are bad. We can also examine that the tariffs have negative effects on some states and positive effects on some states. It can also create boundaries from the USA to other countries. This can also make some countries angry with the USA for cutting off important trades, creating conflict between the states and the USA. Over 1,500 economists signed a declaration calling Trump's tariffs "terrible" and harmful to average Americans. In summary, President Trump and some American businesses believe the tariffs will protect domestic industries and jobs. However, many economists and others are concerned about the potential negative consequences for the economy and global trade. Trump's tariffs could also create a boundary between the American people, creating distrust within the American and state economy, but some people will still trust the tariffs.
We should limit where the tariffs affect states the most.
