“The America’s Center dome ready for worlds.”
Have you ever done anything with robots? Well, just recently, about 900 robotics teams competed in the Vex Worlds Tournament to claim the title “world champion.” Only the top 20 from each division got to go to the division finals, then the top 2 teams from each division finals went to the “dome” finals with a total of 20 teams, 10 alicens, 2 divisions, and 4 champion teams. People are excited about the IQ Mix & Match season. Teams are getting ready for the VEX Robotics World Championship 2026 in St. Louis, Missouri. In this challenge, students work together to build stacks. They use pins and beams to build stacks. They want to score points by working and being smart.
The VEX IQ Worlds Tournament took place in St. Louis, Missouri, from Monday, April 27, through April 30. 900 teams were competing in the VEX IQ Worlds Tournament. These teams were some of the best in the world. They were good at working and driving their robots. They also got a lot of awards.
The VEX IQ Worlds Tournament had a teamwork challenge. Teams had to talk to each other and make plans quickly. They also had to drive their robots. In some rounds, teams had to work with partners. So they had to be good at working and being consistent.
The VEX IQ Robotics Competition game is called Mix & Match. In Mix & Match, teams build stacks using Pins and Beams. Then they put those stacks into goals. Teams earn points if their stacks are well-built and the colors match. The VEX IQ Worlds Tournament was an event. It showed how good teams are at working and driving their robots. The Robot Skills Challenge was also part of the tournament. In this challenge, teams competed alone. They had to drive their robots and program them to do things on their own.

The tournament showed which teams were the best. It was not about being good at robotics. Teams also had to be patient and work together. They had to fix their robots and make new plans.
The VEX IQ Worlds Tournament was a place for students to meet and learn from other teams. They could see robot designs and get ideas. For students, the tournament was not just about winning. It was about learning and having fun. The VEX IQ Worlds Tournament showed how robotics competitions can be fun and exciting. Students can be creative. Work together. They can also learn things and make new friends. The VEX IQ Worlds Tournament was an event. It showed how good teams are at working and driving their robots. The VEX IQ Worlds Tournament showed just how exciting and engaging robotics competitions can be. In fact, the chochof team 29766T said “It may not be my first time here, but it’s still one of the best experiences.” It gave students a chance to show their skills, work as a team, and learn from others around the world. Events like this help students develop problem-solving and teamwork skills. The tournament is a competition where teams demonstrate their abilities by making their robots go through different challenges. For many teams, the tournament was not only about winning but also about having fun, making memories, and being proud of what they accomplished.
