On Wednesday we motored to Gananoque, Ontario, and checked into Canada. We then proceeded carefully through the many channels and islands to Endymion Island and picked up a national park mooring in the S bay.
This is what the channels look like.
and this
S bay of Endymion. It was in the 90s and humid. On Thursday and Friday it got very windy. Indeed on Friday night the gusts were over 30 kns (or felt like it anyway). This did not make for good sleeping.
Wind blown. But the flagged pines are actually permanently shaped like this.
View from Endymion looking W. Camelot Island is on the right. Then Nettley Is. etc.
The islands on the right are in Ontario, those on the left in New York. The border goes straight down this channel.
