Oven 375°
Servings: 40 2-inch cookies
Ingredients:
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, soft
2 eggs
2 1/2 to 2 3/4 c flour
2 t. baking powder
1 t. vanilla
Procedure:
Cream the soft butter and sugar. Sift the flour and baking powder together. Beat the eggs into the butter-sugar mixture. Add the vanilla and then the dry ingredients and mix well. Chill the dough 3-4 hours before rolling out. Preheat oven. Roll out and cut into shapes. Bake 7-12 minutes.
Nice when frosted---we like butter cream frosting.
