2 c. flour
1 t. salt
3 t. baking powder
1/3 c. salad oil (Wesson Oil or similar)
2/3 c. milk
Mix dry ingredients in a bow. measure the 1/3 c. oil into a measuring cup. Add milk up to the 1 cup mark. Pour all at once into the dry ingredients. Mix with a fork until it just leaves the sides of the bowl and forms a ball. Do not overmix.
Put the ball on the table between two sheets of wax paper and pat it to about 1/2 inch thick. Cut out with a glass or a round cookie cutter if you have one. Place on a cookie sheet. Bake at 375° F for abour 15 minutes or til golden.
