Reflecting is looking back. Think about one thing you would do differently this year and one thing you are very proud of.

Write or draw about your memories. What happened? How did you feel at the time? How do you feel now about them? What did you learn from them?

Share your reflection with someone at home or in your community.

Read for pleasure for at least 15 minutes!

Once you have built your device:

  • Test: Test your machine. Did it go all the way through to the end?

  • Reflect: What improvements can you make that will make the machine more reliable and able to accomplish your task? If a part did not work, how could you fix it?

  • Redesign: Redesign your machine, so it has more steps or works more reliably. Do this as many times as your wish!
