On this tab there is a link to my reading comprehension lesson. In this lesson, the focal point is the comprehension method of summarization. Students will read the story, then as an assessment, write a summary on the key details. It is vital that students have the ability to recount key ideas and details from a story. This can ensure that they understand the story, words, details, and elements of literature. Through a fun book, students are more likely to remember parts of the story, especially with a real life application.
