Title of the Artifact: Adapted Test #1
Danielson’s Framework:
Classroom Environment
2d. Managing student behavior
Students play an active role in establishing and maintaining expectations for the learning community with regular opportunities for critical reflection both individually and as a group.
Intasc Standard: #2 Learner Differences
The teacher uses understanding of differences and diverse cultures to enable individual learning.
Description of the Artifact:
This is an adapted test made in my assessment methods course, meant as a second grade math test. The adaptations include bolding and elimination of answers. The test focuses on multiple choice, matching, and true/false questions to encompass a variety of questioning strategies.
Rationale:
Being able to adapt and modify tests for students with varying needs is extremely relevant to the success of the class. Enabling everyone to have a chance at succeeding will help to raise morale. In order to cover all of the students' learning differences, managing their needs (emotional/behavioral/academic) comes first.
