Description of the Artifact:
This document is a mock set of IEP speech goals for a case study student, who struggles with segmenting and blending skills. Each goal allows the student to continually work on different goals in an appropriate amount of time.
Rationale:
Creating an IEP is a joint effort, which most certainly includes the families of students. By discussing the needs, struggles, and strengths of the student, goals can be made to set them up for success. As always, it is important to communicate with the family about the progress of their child, so that they can view their skills at home.
